Get a good nights sleep because we will be on the road early next morning (leaving at 6:30am) after a quick meet and greet then we are off to begin our journey.
Fox Glacier is set on the rugged West Coast of the South Island just south of Hokitika. Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier are some of the most accessible Glaciers in the world. Both glaciers are currently retreating due to global warming, Fox and Franz are a hugely popular tourist destination, which has over 250,000 people pass through a year.
Wanaka - Camping Day 2 (Dinner)
Wanaka is set right beside the beautiful and glorious crystal clear waters of Lake Wanaka, lovely views of mountains, rivers, lakes and endless activities combined with excellent dining.

Milford Sounds - Camping Day 3
Te Anau is set on the eastern shores of Lake Te Anau. Lake Te Anau is the second biggest lake behind Lake Taupo, but is the largest lake in the South Island. Te Anau borders Fiordland National Park and is the gateway to famed tramping and amazing scenery. Te Anau is close to Milford Sounds and Doubtful sounds
Queenstown - Camping Day 4 (Pizza Night) & Day 5
Queenstown is set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and is surrounded by the southern alps. Queenstown is world renowned for its thrill seeking adventures. Queenstown is jam packed with things to do, anything an adrenaline junky is seeking to a quiet afternoon walk along the shores of Lake Wakatipu. Arrowtown isn't too far away and is an idyllic old mining settlement nestled amongst mountains and beautiful trees.
Mount Cook Camping Day 6 (BBQ Night)
Explore New Zealand's tallest mountain, enjoy the spectacular scenerey and wander through Hooker Valley, also while you're here, check out the glacier.
Tekapo - Camping Day 7 (Cooked Breakfast)
Gateway to Mount Cook/Aoraki National Park. Tekapo is home to the Aoraki Mackenzie international dark sky reserve and is only 1 of 4 such reserves in the world. Lake Tekapo is fed by the southern alp rivers, which are fed by glaciers
Christchurch - Final Day (Lunch)
Christchurch is known as the garden city and is set between the Southern Alps and Banks Peninsular (volcanic created landscape) on the Canterbury Plains. It is the 3rd most populated city in New Zealand, behind Auckland and Wellington.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In respect of the style of our trip we cannot guarantee that any activity or amenity, especially those we have no direct control over and including those marked optional will be available. Failure to participate in, or disputes over any such activity or amenity can in no way be held the responsibility of Jandal Camping Tours ltd Inability to visit a location, partake in an event or continue the trip as outlined because of an unforeseeable event, weather, road condition or other inhibiting factors can in no way be held to be the responsibility of Jandal Camping Tours ltd.
We reserve the right to make changes to our trips, without notice if necessary. If for any reason it is necessary for us to cancel your booking we reserve the right to do so. You will in such a case receive full monies back or be able to change to another trip.
We do not tolerate any violent, abusive, racist behaviour or sexual harassment. If your behaviour is deemed unacceptable you will be asked to leave, Jandal Camping Tours Ltd is not liable for any expenses or hardship that has occurred.
CANCELLATION
If for any reason it is necessary to cancel a reservation, or you do not show for your tour departure the following will apply:
- Full payment must be made on purchase of the ticket.
- No Cancellations
You are also able to reschedule your tour but you must be able to provide us with a new departure date at the time of re-scheduling. Re-scheduling is not available within 2 weeks of departure *
We recommend you take out travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal accident, cancellation and personal property.1 cover is our preferred supplier.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
All optional activities offered during the tour are operated by independent companies and are an additional cost to the tour price (unless stated otherwise in itinerary). We carefully select well established, professional companies who assume all responsibility for their safety and satisfactory delivery. Excursions or other tours that you may choose to book or pay for whilst you are on holiday are not part of your package holiday provided by us. All excursions are supplied by third party suppliers and are subject to their own terms and conditions. For any excursion or activity that you book, your contract will be with the operator of the excursion or tour and not with us. We are not responsible for the provision of the excursion or tour or for anything that happens during the course of its provision by the operator.
Passengers accept that there are degrees of risk involved with on tour activities such as hiking, swimming, or snorkelling.
No passenger will be permitted to embark or continue on tour whilst their mental/physical condition is, in the opinion of any representative of Jandal Camping Tours, may render them incapable of safe conduct, or they become objectionable to other passengers, or a hazard to themselves or other passengers. Jandal Camping Tours will not be responsible for expenses resulting in such persons being precluded from completing the tour.
SMOKING
Government regulations forbid smoking in tourist vans.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend passengers take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. Your insurance should provide cover against personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability as well as any adventure activities not covered under a standard insurance policy. Jandal Camping Tours are not liable for any lack of insurance on your behalf. You can get a travel insurance quote from A1 cover that is on our payment page.
ACCIDENT COMPENSATION COMMISSION (ACC)
If you are injured whilst in New Zealand ACC may be able to help with the cost of treatment whilst you're in New Zealand. However, it is important to note that you cannot sue for personal injury - ACC replaces that right. In addition, ACC only covers treatment/rehabilitation costs whilst in NZ and is not a replacement for travel insurance.
FITNESS AND MEDICALS
Some activities require a reasonable level of fitness. Passengers should be of reasonable health and fitness and carry all required medication. Jandal Camping Tours must be advised of any prior medical conditions and food allergies at time of booking.
